Our garden hosts the Annual Gippsland Pruning Demonstrations conducted by the Victorian Rose Society.
On Tuesdays mornings the Friends are seen throughout the garden cutting off spent blooms, planning new projects, maintaining watering systems, pruning and many other tasks related to the care of the roses.
There is also the morning ‘cuppa and chat’ time when it’s a great time to catch up with others, and the latest news related to gardening events.
During the warmer months there are social outings to a variety of gardens where we can relax, learn and get to know each other.
Becoming a ‘Friend of the Garden’ is an enjoyable way of learning about growing roses with the knowledge of experienced rose growers being passed on to new volunteers.

Our garden hosts the Gippsland Pruning Demonstrations conducted by the Rose Society of Victoria on the last weekend of June each year. This is a great opportunity for the community to learn how to prune in addition to having access to information about rose culture.
