International Rose Garden Festival Morwell
This year’s International Rose Garden Festival Morwell will run on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th November from 12:00pm to 9:30pm.
Visitors can explore the roses, take part in a range of activities and workshops, treat their taste buds or partake in retail therapy at the many market stores.

Travel in style by Heritage Steam Train to the International Rose Garden Festival Morwell, Saturday 11 November.
For a relaxed day out with family and friends, leave the car at home and jump aboard the R711 Vintage Train from Newport, Southern Cross, Dandenong, or Pakenham stations and journey through picturesque countryside as you leave the hustle and bustle behind and head to Morwell in the Latrobe Valley.
Leaves Melbourne 8:30am Saturday and departs Morwell at 3:15pm.

AGL Night Lights
Saturday and Sunday 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
This year the AGL Loy Yang Night Lights Installation is bigger and better than ever.
You’re invited to explore the garden at night when it is transformed into a kaleidoscope of colour, movement and wonder, providing endless photo opportunities.

Costa Georgiadis from ABC Gardening Australia will be presenting live on the main stage from 12.15pm talking all things sustainability and gardening.
Join Costa Georgiadis & Cate McQuillen, Producer of Dirtgirl world, for a panel discussion on household sustainability practices. Learn how one small change at home can have a positive impact on the environment.
The Costa Show includes a drink on arrival, main meal and petit fours at the new purpose-built function centre at the Morwell Bowling Club, just a five minute walk from the Morwell Centenary Rose Garden.

Sunday
Sunday is all about the kids with ‘costa the Garden Gnome and Scrapboy’ from DIRTGIRL world, hosting a mud pie bake-off.
There’s even a kids disco with DJ Nige on the Sunday night.

He is the Australian agent for the world-renowned David Austin Roses. He will talk briefly about their history, show images of many of the lovely flowers and give you a preview of the new releases for 2024.
